There are several ways of making rosaries. One of the most common is the “hooked” method, which involves loops that are simply linked together. It looks like this:
As you can see, it’s very easy for these loops to bend or separate and work their way apart -- which means you’re left with a broken rosary!
In the wire-wrapped method, which I use, the wire is wrapped around the loop several times. This ensures that the loop will stay closed, meaning your rosary is practically indestructible!
